Big Time Hunters

There was a show in TV that features different equipments that they sell online. During one of their episodes, they featured different labeling equipment and their uses. I tried to follow the explanation to the best of my abilities, but I got lost somewhere in the middle. All I know is that, different labeling equipments are designed for different products. You also have to make sure that you will only use the right equipment for the right product. Making a mistake can be very costly because the machines are very expensive.

I also found out that some businesses order custom labeling equipment that is specially designed for them. I didn’t know that it was getting late and I was determined to finish the show. I didn’t know that I fell asleep before the show ended and my mom scolded me for leaving the T.V open all night. As punishment, I was forced to do the laundry for the whole week and babysit my younger sister. I endured it all for the whole week and I promised myself not to let this happen ever again.

Earning money used to be an easy thing for my husband. He is self made as he was able to get admitted to an Ivy League and went on to one of the top ten law schools in the country. When the economy was doing well, he used to earn not less than two hundred grand annually. But, the administration changed and so did the financial system. We used to buy silver just for fun, for the memory or for celebration. Now, selling silver is a way to get by.

My husband has always been a provider. All I needed to do was worry on taking care of our home and the kids. It is now the time for me to take a stand and do my share in this crisis. Thankfully my husband was fond of buying me jewelries and most of them were silver because he knows what I want. It is hard to let go but, to sell silver is the only way for us to survive another day. The online jeweler is heaven sent for me. Many families get by with the indirect help they provide consumers. I am just one of them.

One afternoon, when I arrived early from work, I got a nasty call on the phone looking for my housemate.  The person at the other line was talking about her and was planning to go to her office to talk about her payments for the credit card.  The guy I was talking to was mean and even did not believed me that Martha wasn’t home yet.

I told them that I decided to change my way of living and taking a walk is a good place to start. My friend invited me to come over their house. I stood in awe for about five minutes and then it sank into that this one damn unfortunate situation might just cost me my job. Oh my! To reclaim lost data from hard drive was not exactly my cup of tea. I had to get back those files or else my immediate supervisor will recommend that I’d be sacked instantly. Sales reports are our bread and butter. For us marketers, proposal lost is still okay but a sales report lost is a mortal sin.

That whole day, I was thinking of ways on how to recover my files. Later that afternoon, I got a call from a computer repair Raleigh company and it was good news. They could fix the problem. But I kept on wondering who made them call me. Any guesses? It was my immediate supervisor, apparently, he had encountered the same problem in the past and he found this company online who helped. That same company called me and yes, they were able to recover my sales report and I was the happiest marketer alive the day my sales report was recovered.
