Big Time Hunters

My mother started a new job for a really big firm last month and has already received a promotion. She has been promoted to the new head of business which means that anything that can save money or time that she sees, they do it. She found that the servers in the building were very old and that they were holding back most of the office from having more sales. She got the computer guys to install some refurbished used poweredge servers and sales have doubled.

The big guys upstairs were not happy with the bill for the used servers when they got it, but then the sales reports came out right after that and she was given all the credit that she fully deserved. That is when the big guys came up with the idea to give her the promotion and somehow they came up with that title and gave her a corner office and a raise. Since sales had gone up so much from the used poweredge servers, they knew that they could afford her raise with no problems.

She and her assistant have found ten other ways just this month to save the company money and to help the office work more streamlined and efficient. The used servers started the whole thing and now she shows no signs of stopping.

I may want to buy some used hp servers instead of going with new. I am thinking that buying a new server is just like buying a new car, you drive it off the lot and there goes half the value. I know that there are different companies that are out there that offer refurbished used proliant servers for a huge discount. I have seen many places get into too much debt when they first open because they think that they need to have all new everything including the ten thousand dollar servers.

I am starting my search for the used proliant servers around town by making a few phone calls and then if that does not work out I will turn to the web. I only have three more weeks till I have to have the servers at the office for the computer guys to put in.

I am pretty sure that I can find a good deal on some used hp servers before then and if not I can always use the backup plan and delay the opening or buy some new ones if all else fails. My business partner has left all the decisions regarding the used hp servers or whatever I choose in my hands.

I was reading the paper the other day and flipped to the section of the month’s best business. Our local paper will find a business in our community that offers outstanding customer service or products and will give them an award and write article about them.

I was surprised to learn about this month’s winner. It was an Arizona website design company that I did not even know existed. After reading the article I learned that they were mostly a web based company and did not really promote their services in a local atmosphere.

This Phoenix website design company had done an outstanding job in growing over the past three years. They had grown over 400% in that time period and were employing over 20 people which to me was amazing. They have a great benefits package and pay their employees well. I guess they have also given back to the community quite a bit but will normally do it anonymously.

According to some of their customers, their service was great and the website designs that they do are top notch. Their websites apparently also rank well in the search engines which is not something that all web design companies can do.

I placed an order with the local home improvement store over three months ago for iron gates and iron entry doors. They told me that they would take six to eight weeks to come in when I initially ordered them. At no time did anyone call and say that they would not be in on time or that they were on backorder. I want someone to give me an explanation of why they are not in yet and be truthful about it.

I called again this morning to see if by chance that they had come in and was told that they were not. I asked to speak to the manager once again, who was probably dreading my daily calls but I really do not care. I would love to be able to get into their computer system and punch up my order for the iron gates and iron entry doors and read what it really says.

If the gates and doors are not here by the end of the week, I am cancelling my order and looking for a new company to deal with to get them. My friend at work told me that she knows of a place in the city that has iron gates and iron entry doors in stock that you can take home with you.

Prior to hiring Danny DeMichele, I had a different company working for me and my website. I had thought they would do a good job and my sales would start going through the roof but that did not happen and I had to find someone new to turn my site around.

I know of at least two of my friends who have given him a call to see how he can help them but I am not sure if either of them has officially hired him to start their campaigns yet.

I have been searching for a good rep company that can help me build up the good reputation that I have. I thought that I heard someone mention a company called ReputationManagers.com but I have not found them in the phone book. Maybe if I try looking online, then I can find them.

I have no idea what hiring a company like ReputationManagers.com will set me back but I think that if the whole industry sees you as being a very good person, then they will be more apt to want to work with you. I would think that this goody, goody reputation should lead to more jobs and more money. If people who have been convicted of crimes can find work in this business and make a good living then people like me should be able to make even more money and find better jobs.

If I cannot find this ReputationManagers.com online then I will have to keep trying this other company that I found, but I have called them all day and no one will pick up their phones. It does not give me a good feeling about hiring them, if I can never reach them when I need to.

The dell repair place that I used online will talk you through any repairs that can be done by the owner at home or in the office. If they cannot help you fix it, they will have you ship it to their warehouse and they will fix it and ship it back to you very quickly. I have used the dell repair in both instances and have been happy both times.

The first time I used them was to fix my poweredge servers, when they kept powering themselves off. The technician on the other end of the line knew exactly what was wrong just by me giving him a description and talked me through the repair. I have not had any problems with it since.

The second time I had to call the dell repair line, I was not so lucky with fixing my printer over the phone. I had to pack it up and send it off to have the technicians look over it themselves. I guess that it must have been something very simple since they had it back to me within about thirty six hours of getting it.

I am glad that I have this repair shop to call when I need them. I always know that they will fix the problem one way or another.

When I was able to locate some system x servers online for about thirty percent less than what the local computer stores wanted, I ordered them right away. I know a good deal when I see it and this was actually a fantastic deal. I ordered four system x servers, and the total did not even come to what two would have cost me in town. I sent out a mass email to all my friends who I knew ordered new servers regularly and gave them the address of the site that had some good bargains.

Two of my buddies emailed me back and thanked me for the heads up on the site. They had both placed orders for xseries servers and were glad to have gotten them at such low prices. I knew that their bosses would be thrilled to see that they had found a way to save money on the xseries serves too.

When the painting company finished the entire job, they let me in to see the finished product. I was so happy, I could have cried. I had hired the painting company to paint the baby’s room. The baby was to be born sometime in January, and I had them paint in November so that all the paint fumes would be long gone by the time he or she arrived.

I had chosen a color scheme for the room that I had seen in a magazine. I was not sure that they would be able to do it exactly, but they did. This interior painting company had mimicked everything on the pages, right down to the mural of the horses on the carousel. I was excited to have all of my friends and family see the room, since my baby shower was the following weekend; I knew they would see it then.

I gave the painting company a huge tip and thanked them for all of their hard work. I took pictures of the completed project and compared them to the before pictures that I had. The transformation of the room was fantastic. I would recommend this interior painting company to anyone who is looking to get the right look, they can do it.

When the neighbors asked us who had installed our new wood double hung windows, I told them the name of the company and gave her their website address also. I told her that their website was probably one of the biggest reasons that I hired them. It was informative and made them seem much more professional than the other local companies.

I guess that they called them and set up a time for an estimate because I saw one of their trucks parked in the driveway the following night. I then noticed a gentlemen walking around the house with the neighbors and he was measuring their windows.

I asked her two days later when I saw her outside if they had hired the company or not. She told me that they had and would be having their new wood casement windows installed in less than a month. I wondered why they had chosen the wood casement windows instead of the wood double hung windows like we had.

I would have thought that after seeing ours, they would want to have our houses look similar since they were right next to each other. After they had the wood casement windows put in, I could see why they would have gone with them over the ones we chose. It looked like they had a picture window in every spot of the house. They looked great.
