Selling Jewelry Is Fun
07/15/2010
My aunt who’s into jewelry collection decided to sell old jewelry in the name of charity. You see she has this knack for philanthropy. She needed something to make her feel better and she asked my opinion, as I am her favorite niece, if it would be a nice gesture on her part. I, of course, said yes. I told her this philanthropic activity is good for the soul and the fact she had to do an inventory an almost every time delayed inventory of her jewelry collection. Finally, we sat down one Saturday morning in her house and discovered that her jewelries are redundant. She bought a couple of jewelry with the same design and there were a number of them. So, it was not really hard to choose which to sell or not. The redundant pieces of jewelry should go.
We never thought selling jewelry would be this fun. But for this one particular company, as they appraised the price of the jewelry sold, I felt excited because they gave my aunt’s jewelry very good prices. They actually gave the right value for the jewelry. It felt good. My aunt was impressed how reliable they are and how good they were in appraising. We were able to get a really good deal all in the name of charity. My aunt was able to distribute a good deal of goods to poor communities around our area and it made us very happy. Selling something was never this fun and satisfying.
