Big Time Hunters

My boyfriend and I love staying under the sun. I play beach volleyball, while he really enjoys Frisbee. We both find happiness whenever we are near the beach, especially when we are with our friends. However, there are some days when the sun is shining brighter than the usual. This is somehow a killjoy, because even us who really love the sun, finds it so not cool. We also know the health risks that go with over exposure. That is why I always bring several outdoor umbrellas with us, so that we always come prepared for any intensity of heat.

Also, since my house is near the beach, and sun’s heat gets to infiltrate to the interior of the house, I thought it is the best decision at the time to ask my parents to have retractable awnings installed in the windows facing the beach. Since it is retractable, they can choose not to use them once in a while. This will be a good way to regulate not only the amount of heat but also the amount of light me let inside, depending on necessity or mood.

With the effects of the changing of the climate, it is goof to have these kinds of protection. As many have said, it is the best decision one can make at the time.
